How can you get fuller looking lips without using a collogen filler or botox?

November 2, 2009

I want to get fuller looking lips without the collogens and botox fillers. any suggestions?
I have tried lip plumping glosses and lipsticks and they usually have collogens in them (my skin reacted badly to them as well). some of the glosses didnt even do anything

Whenever I eat those chili lime covered suckers (they’re Mexican suckers) my lips swell up. I tried rubbing chili powder on my lips with a little lip gloss and that worked for me.

You can also use lip liner, lipstick, and lip gloss to make your lips look fuller. You want to apply the liner on the outer corners, but not in the center of your lips. You want to apply a lighter color lipstick or gloss to the fullest part of your lips (the center). It is the same concept as wearing black to make something look smaller and wearing white or light colors to make something appear larger. If you contrast the center of your lips using a lighter color or gloss with the outside of your lips using a slightly darker shade of lip liner and/or lipstick, your lips will appear fuller.

what i do is i just apply extra gloss to the exact center of my top and bottom lip,
which gives them the illusion of looking fuller.

Let me clear something up that I have seen in a few other questions posted about this: Botox is not a lip filler. It’s a muscle paralyzer and it’s used to reduce wrinkles. It works great.

Now for lip plumping, I recommend Restylane. Treatments range from $600-$900 and last about 9 months. Subsequent treatments last a little longer. It’s not collagen, and it’s a completely organic (of the body) product, so it won’t be rejected.

Anyway, botox is NOT for plumping lips, but it has other great benefits like eliminating wrinkles between your eyebrows and on your forehead. Just don’t over-do it!
