Can’t help you on the price, but I’ve had both Botox and Juvaderm.
Botox is better on the top half of your face whereas Juvaderm is better for the lines around your motuh.
With Botox your face is smoothed out because the muscles are paralysed and don’t move, which is great for your forehead but understand that you can no longer express surprise or disapproval (not a bad thing). The first time I had it done I had furrow lines done between my eyebrows, frown lines on my forehad and the crows feet around my eyes. I loved the brows and furrows but wasn’t so enamoured with the crows feet because when I smiled nothing happened around my eyes it was all cheeks and I looked like a chipmunk. I didn’t have them done this time. It lasts around 4 to 6 months and each time you have it done it lasts longer.
The Juvaderm just plumps out the lines and makes them less noticable. The affects last 12 months.
Of the two the juvaderm was more painful and there was more bruising which lasted around a week.
I would have it doen again though.
The first time I had it done it was £300 for 3 areas of Botox and £430 for the Juvaderm but they were both on offer. It depnds on how many vials of Juvaderm they have to use to sort out your lines. With Botox it’s per area.
