I have some deep pimples that have resurfaced several times and I never seem to be able to remove them completely. I also have red marks from old acne. Does microdermabrasion remove blackheads and whiteheads and pustules? What is the price? I am referring to the treatments they do in spas. Please no answers recommending other things like rubbing fruit on your face…

I have microderm instead of normal facials. I use good products and put a mask on once a week so I don’t need a facial to do those simple things. That’s why I have microderm instead. It is a great deep cleanse that you cannot do yourself at home properly.
For acne like you are talking about, I would try IPL or VPL – the variable pulse light treatments. Make sure you go to a reputable salon and discuss it with them before you even think about doing it.
It is expensive and by god it hurts – but the results are absolutely fantastic. This is what celebs have done weeks before a big event and why their skin glows.
