Face Masks to Help Minimize the Appearance of My Pores?

November 21, 2009

Lately, the pores on my nose and forehead have been looking huge. Does anyone know any inexpensive homemade or store-bought face masks I could try to help keep my pores from looking so gross? Thanks! :)

I think the clay masks work well to draw out oil and impurities from your pores. I have sensitive, oily skin, and I have problems with large pores, too. I use ProActive and their clay mask works really well for me. The thing with big pores is that you have to stay on top of skin care. You use the mask, it draws out impurities, and the next day it starts all over again. I use the mask every morning, just on my nose (the only problem area I have any more), and that keeps things in check. If I get lazy and don’t use it for a few days, my pores look huge again. I don’t know for sure, but I’m guessing that by addressing it early on, you will keep your pores from becoming permanently enlarged when you get older. Hope that helps.
