Beauty cosmetics, anti-age creams/lotions: good or bad?

October 31, 2009

A friend told me that the use of skin moisturizing products and anti-aging creams such as Mary Kay, Nivea, etc., actually get in the way of your body creating its own natural hydration oils. Your skin then dries up when not using the product, therefore making you more likely to use more of it and continuing to make your skin dependent on it. Is that true or false? Please explain.
