14 is the age where you should do anything you can to learn about the causes of wrinkles and prevent them from forming to begin with. Stay away from the sun, that is a MUST. Excessive exposure to sun not only dries the skin, it increases the chances of later development of melasma. Also, use sunblocks that contain at least SPF of 15 (15 means you are protected from the sun for 150 minutes; 15×10). Hydrate your skin regularly but either making your own homemade face masks, using good moisturizers, and drinking plenty of water. It is also good to use facial exfoliants to rejuvenate the skin from time to time. I hope this helps. lol

I don’t blame you, 14 is beyond the far side of ancient.

Make sure to check with SSA.

You could always get a facelift.

Although, you really shouldn’t care that much about wrinkles…

Don’t tan – tanning’s terrible for your skin.

&I THINK, you’re supposed to keep your skin well moisturized.

Good old soap and water is really all you need. Wash your face at night before bed with soap and water. Never go to sleep with makeup on. You can follow up with a good face lotion. Dont smoke it causes premature wrinkles and always wear sunblock on your face when outside. You can tan your body but dont let your face burn, because it causes wrinkles. And you can always wear a darker makeup if your face doesnt get sun

Are you kidding me? Enjoy life right now and start worrying about this in 20 or 30 years.

Hi there, the best way is sunscreen and avoiding harsh sun – always wear a hat and use an spf 15+ or higher sunscreen when outdoors – even on overcast days as sundamage is responsible for a high percentage of aging and wrinkles.

Also make sure you drink lots of water and always take off any makeup before bedtime with a gentle makeup remover or cleanser.

Cheers

When you wash your face, pat it dry.
Rubbing can eventually cause wrinkles.

Wear sunscreen or a good moisturizer – I use tinted moisturizer by neutrogina – it doesnt clog pores, its got a bit of colour and its 30 SPF. Sunscreens / Moisturizers with and SPF helps prevent wrinkles, and it also prevents pigmentation of the skin, due to an increase of the production of melanin.

Oversized sunglasses are great too. They prevent the formation of under-eye wrinkles, due to UV rays and squinting. Squinting also makes you frown.

Drink lots of water, to stay hydrated.

Make sure you TRY to get enough sleep.

And lastly, DONT smoke. Smoking = premature aging (and other health issues).

Even though your only 14, its good to get into good habbits, to increase your overall health.

its never too early to start treating your face
starting early can prevent wrinkles
every morning and every night before you go to bed just cleanse and moisturize your face

scarlet - November 4, 2009 at 6:12 am

best thing is to apply sunscreen like others have suggested…
dont over wash ur face, dont use too much soap because moisture lose are one of the reason for wrinkles…
use quality makeups…
use sun glasses(originals)..
and put cold tea green bags in the eye area(coz its full of anti oxidants)
and i heard yoga & medication will make you look 10-20 yrs younger(not sure though)

and UR ONLY 14!!!!!!!!!!!!! and by the time u hit 30 or 40, i am sure scientists will discover somehting to make them vanish (lol i hope so…)

hope this helps :)

I’m so happy to learn that you are already interested in skin care at your young age. I always believe on the importance of an early start of proper skin care to avoid early signs of aging.
-i would recommend that you start by eating the right foods. http://antiwrinklezone.com/anti-aging-skin-care/top-10-anti-aging-foods-for-skin has a list of anti-aging foods that will help you protect your skin.
-exercise will also be very helpful.
-don’t get under the sun for too long, and use big sunglasses if you really have to be exposed to the sun.
-keep yourself hydrated.
-don’t wash your face too often. twice a day is enough.

Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the marks with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water.
