I have oily skin, and would like to know of a product or lotion that’s inexpensive and effective in preventing wrinkles. I would appreciate it if you give details of your experience using these.

As far as a lotion/moisturizerfor oily skin…I was told by a well-known dermatologist, not to use a moisturizer , especially one that might have mineral oil or lanolin in it. It just exacerbates the oil and blemish problem., but he did say to use DOVE cleansing bar. Dove has enough moisturizer in it to help hold in moisture and also has sodium in it to help heal blemishes and balance the ph in your skin. Follow-up with witch hazel for a light astringent. It is not too drying.( Using a strong astringent, which has a high alcohol content and over-dries the skin Therefore, you produce even more oil ) If you really want to use a moisturizer make absolutely sure it is water-based. I used one, but it still made me break-out, but everyone is different. (I had very oily skin, so)……..I am 54 and do not have one wrinkle on my face….oily skin rules and Dove helped, really. We might "suffer" when we are younger with oily skin….but as you mature it really pays off……………
Contact a Mary Kay rep in your area…(you can find one online if you don’t know of one)….that have a good cream for wrinkles…it has helped the ones on my forehead a great deal. Sorry I can’t remember the name of it….the rep will know just what you need.
A moisturizer with spf in it would help because it would protect your skin from the sun which causes wrinkles over long term.
Try oil of olay it’s really good i’ve been using this for 3yrs and works great.
Why dont you try some home remedies like:
Use a face pack of 4 oz gram flour mixed with 1 oz yogurt, 1 tsp turmeric powder. I think chemicals only worsen the problem.
also improve your diet GET FISH to your table at least twice a week. Oily fish like Mackerel, Salmon, Sardines are the richest source of active Omega-3 fatty acids which strengthen collagen and elastic fibres and thus prevent wrinkles, sagging and dryness. If you are a vegetarian, Omega-3 fatty acid is available in capsule form at the pharmacies.
Eat berries – purple, dark red, blue berries eg. jamun, phalsa and dark cherries. These have anti-aging properties because they get their colour from the wrinkle-buster antioxidant flavinoid Anthocyanin. Cauliflower and broccoli also have cell-protecting anti-oxidants, beta-carotene as well as Vitamin A and C.
Do a lot of juicing and drink lots of water.
Dove and Neutrogena are both excellent lines in this area. You don’t need to spend a lot of money at the cosmetics counter. But you do need to find a good cleanser that will not strip your face and leave it drier than necessary…that only causes your body to produce more oil.
In your shoes, I’d go for Dove Essentials. They have cleansing clothes for sensitive skin that will help you rid the dirt and oiliness without harming the skin, and Essential Nutrients Day Lotion that will hydrate the skin without making it feel goopy.
I have oily oily oily skin and hair. They said it would dry up by 25, it didn’t. Again at 30,nope. 40,nope. Well, I am 54, super oily, and have tried lots of stuff for it. I have never had wrinkles and thought it was because of the oiliness. I have just started using SunChlorella which is an algae from the sea. It promotes cell growth and keeps the cells young so wrinkles, sagging skin, etc won’t happen.Old cells break down with age.It also helps your hair and nails, energy, general health and more.Look it up and see it’s benefits. The Hollywood folks are using it also. There is another one that is Blue Green Algae and you can order it online or get a cheaper and not as pure form at Walmart for $8.They also have it in a bottle like a sport drink but I don’t know how much is in it.
