At what age should I start looking into wrinkle creams etc?

October 15, 2009

I’m 28 now. I only use a spf 15 day cream ( + like a face wash and just regular lotion at night, for my face) People always think I’m yonger than I am and I have no wrinkles.
But I dont want them either so what age should I start looking into them and what would be some good ( and not too expensive) products to start with??

Any derm will tell you the biggest cause of aging is sun damage. So spf is the best thing you can do. And if your routine is working then I probably would not change it yet. You will notice when you feel like you should change things up. Just be sure to keep your skin safe, protected and hydrated. Sometimes those wrinkle creams are just too rich and cause more problems.
Honestly I would say maybe 30 is a good age to start an anti aging regimen. But you can maybe add an eyecream to your routine (usually thats one of the first places of aging)
There are literally thousands of products (its exhausting!) but try out samples here and there and do your research. ww.cosmeticscop.com is a good site. She is very informative about products and the good and the bad. Also when you turn 30 make an appt for a derm, this is real helpful and retinoids are also a good product for antiaging.
Good luck!
PS: check out makeupalley.com this site is awesome! It gives reviews from real people about all kinds of products! It will help you avoid costly mistakes!

When you start seeing wrinkles, even small ones (so you can prevent future ones). it varies for everyone. my mom’s 46 and is free of them, wheras my teacher is 38 and has a few. So, it depends.

i more like using vitager, it’s not only for my skin but also for my health, it stops premature aging and diminished wrinkles and fine lines too. i also get energy from it.
